Creating a manga without knowing how to draw: how much it costs

On Bulle.ai, registration is free. Generation, however, is paid for in credits. No credits are given upon registration: you must buy a pack to get started.

There is no subscription. Credits never expire, you use them at your own pace.

The page indicates 500 credits per manga project. Three packs are offered:

• Standard: 6,000 credits, 12 projects, or €4.16 per project.
• Pro: 12,500 credits, 25 projects, or €3.96 per project.

The difference is small. For a first try, the Beginner pack is enough: no need to tie up €99 before finishing a single project.

What the price doesn't say

The credit cost is not the total cost. You have to factor in your time: writing the script, describing the characters, proofreading each page. The tool generates the images, it doesn't replace the idea.

The page promises results in under 30 seconds and more than 20 art styles. Test a short project before launching a long one: you'll know if the style suits you for €5 instead of €50.

How to get off to a good start

First, write a one-page synopsis. Set two or three characters, not ten. Choose a single style and keep it until the end, it's the best guarantee of consistency between pages.
